Pertle Springs

Pertle Springs is owned by the University of Central Missouri and provides several different forms of outdoor recreation. There are a couple of lakes and ponds and there is also a golf course. One of the main entrances to Pertle Springs can be found at the south end of Holden Street. You will come to a four way stop with DD Hwy (Hale Lake Rd) traveling East and West, go straight through the four way and you will then be on Pertle Springs Rd.

The first parking lot off to your left is a good place to park and access the trail system. Easiest entrance into the trails is to follow the trail up the big hill on the South side of the parking lot. Travel along the trail on the East side of the pond. Once you reach the far side of the pond you will see a turn off to your left.
